Leigh Hart's Mysterious Planet Season 1: Episode 6 Loch Ness - Part 2

The search for the Loch Ness monster isn't going well and the pressure takes it's toll on Leigh Hart and the team

They've travelled to Scotland to find out once and for all if the legendary aquatic monster exits. Will Leigh succeed or will relationship issues tear the team apart.

For Hart, the unsolved mysteries of the world, and the plethora of documentaries surrounding them, have always held a real fascination. Part of the series was inspired by this interest but its creation can also be attributed to one of his family members.

“While cleaning out my garage I found a book that my grandfather gave me in about 1979 for Christmas. It was called Mysterious Planet. I added the words ‘Leigh Hart’s’ to the cover with a white marker pen and then turned into my ‘own’ TV show. It was really that simple,” he says.

The most common speculation among believers is that the creature represents a line of long-surviving plesiosaurs. Much of the scientific community regards the Loch Ness Monster as a modern-day myth, and explains sightings as including misidentifications of more mundane objects, outright hoaxes, and wishful thinking. Despite this, the Mysterious Planet team travel to Scotland to find out once and for all if the Loch Ness Monster exits. Will Leigh succeed or will relationship and tech issues tear the team apart.
